Even once head lice have been successfully treated there is no guarantee that you or your family will not be re-infested at some point. Checking for head lice regularly as a precaution and every day if you know of an outbreak, is the best way to stay on top of the situation.

Tips

Ask your children not to share clothing such as scarves or caps with friends.
Tie up or braid long hair.
Wear a swimming cap in the swimming pool.
